Privacy Protections on Probate Cases
New Mexico protects medical information and can seal the record in certain cases.
Medical examinations and interviews of the protected person, in both guardianships and conservatorships, are considered confidential. The court may seal the record of guardianship or conservatorship if the protected person requests and the guardianship or conservatorship is dismissed or terminated.
