Nevada may protect personal and medical information.

Personal, identifiable information of the protected person and the guardian is confidential. Unless they are a party to the guardianship proceeding, banks and other financial institutions are not able to access any capacity evaluations or confidential information related to medical records or placement, or any inventory or accounting of the estate of the protected person.

The court may, upon a party’s motion or its own motion, seal or redact documents where sealing or redaction is justified by identified compelling privacy or safety interests that outweigh the public interest in access. This explicitly includes situations where the sealing or redaction includes medical, mental health, or tax records.
