Privacy Protections on Probate Cases
Mississippi will allow public access to guardianship records through a court order.
Those who are not able to access confidential information in guardianship and conservatorship actions may, for good cause, petition the court for access. The court will allow access if it is in the best interest of the protected person or if it furthers the public interest without endangering the welfare or financial interests of the protected person.
